Your beeswax candles should not be burnt unsupervised or near any flammable objects, children or pets. You should burn them on a heat safe surface and have a plate or wax catcher underneath them in case they have any melting drips. If you burn your candle in a draft free area you should not have drips. Keep your wax pool clean, and trim the wick to 6 mm (1/4inch) each time the candle is lit. If your candle is not burning well, you may need to blow it out and snip the very top of the wick off and re-light. Stop burning your candle when 1.2 cm (1/2 inch) of wax remains.
Beeswax Candles burn for a long time, usually longer than regular paraffin or soy candles. As beeswax candles burn some scientists think they pull toxins as they ionize the air which is a healthy option for indoor candles and anyone with allergies.
My beeswax candles are made from %100 beeswax with cotton wicks and are soot free. My wax is all sourced from responsible bee keepers in Canada, and my candles burn cleanly and have no added fragrances or colourings. The color of beeswax varies from batch to batch, this is normal and makes your candle even more unique!
Thank-you again for buying local and supporting my new small business!
